So glad you are just about at the end of the renovation journey - I know it’s been a long while with many challenges.
I’m using The Light Seer’s Tarot - it’s one I love because of how the creator combined modern images with traditional meanings.
Your card is the Six of Pentacles. It shows a hand making an offering of coins and another plucking a coin from the selection. Or it might be the other way round - the hand at the bottom may be accepting the coins from above. I think it depends on how it appears to you.
Applying it to your question, I think you definitely have something to offer and it seems that a local magazine or publication would be happy to take it. My feeling is that they may not be able to pay you for it (I have an image in my mind from another deck where the person making the offering is actually destitute so their contribution is probably their time and labour rather than cash). So the payment would be the kudos in seeing your work in print.
The card at the base of the deck is the Queen of Swords - a woman who pays attention to details. Her advice is to be aware of what each publication is looking for and to adapt the piece accordingly. One might need a particular angle such as a humorous account while another might want more technical and or financial info. Yet another might be looking for the human aspect where you show how the process affected you from obstacle to success.
Remember that you should only submit to one print magazine at a time.
Another thing to consider is that, as well as print, you can also look for an appropriate publication on Medium and submit it there as well - can be done at the same time as a local submission.

Hi Bev. I hope you are doing well I’m Stacy it’s been a while. My birthday is March 1. I’m here with a heart that hurts and I’m confused and yearning. Bryan (December 1) is my ex and I still care for him deeply. I miss him and his family and my son with his children—all of it. He ended things with me last summer (July 2024). I still love him. Currently I’m talking to this man named Addison (October 3) and William (November 17). My heart wants Bryan back and it’s fine to be friends with these two new people but I don’t know why my heart is stuck. Is Bryan coming back, or do I move on :(

Sorry to hear you are hurting in this way.
The main problem you have is the pattern of thoughts about him. People always yearn for the one they cannot have. Unavailability coats the idea of the ex with mystique. It makes them more desirable. Yet if you take a step back and understand that he is not thinking of you in the same way that you are thinking about him, you can begin to heal. To be harsh, he is not thinking of you at all; he is moving on with his life.

I'm using the Universal Waite Tarot and your Card is the Nine of Cups. The appearance of this card indicates that you will encounter a period of happiness and fulfilment. Now that doesn't necessarily mean that the person you are interested in will turn out to be 'the one'. It's more that you will feel comfortable and emotionally complete as you are.

I am born on the 22nd of July. I would like to ask what to do about a long term relationship that was fine at the beginning, but now it's a constant fight. He is not a toxic person, but it seems that we are simply not matching anymore, and we make each other unhappy. We both love each other very much and it's though the idea of breaking up. I don't know what to do, if cling to the good things in our relationship and keep trying, or if it the time to let go. We live together and it would be traumatic for me leave home and start anew.
I don't know what to do and I need help.
Hello Faust, I can feel the struggle in your message. Sorry that you are going through this difficult time.
I am using the Vice Versa Tarot - This deck has an image on both sides of the card, so a 'this way' and a 'that way'. I don't want to label them negative or positive; they are simply at different ends of the spectrum of possible meanings. Hope that makes sense.
Your card is the Knight of Swords (this way). This character indicates someone who puts emotions way down his list of priorities. For him, being in control is of paramount importance together with his own personal goals. He is highly intelligent, witty and can be sarcastic. He is difficult to live with because of these reasons. It takes someone very strong to stay with him on his journey, while at the same time protecting their own feelings. Eventually he matures into a more understanding and wiser person, i.e. a King (or Queen) of Swords).
I don't know if this card represents your partner or not. It might even be you. If it's him, then you need to know that the difficult times with him will continue for some years. If it's you, then you might think about softening your stance on certain triggering issues and give your partner a chance to have their say. Going by your birthdate though, you are not the confrontational partner here.
The card at the base of the deck is the Hanged Man (that way). The difference between the two sides of the cards is minimal. In general the Hanged Man indicates some time out is necessary. You need space to think and reassess your options. You offered two solutions - stay or go - but there is a third way and that is to have a temporary break, a breather from each other. If he is the Knight of Swords he may object because it's not his idea. However, you need this for your own mental and emotional well-being so be insistent. Take a couple of weeks; go stay with a friend or relative and do some serious thinking. Don't stay in contact with your partner. Hi Flo, so sorry to hear you are feeling down. Over the years, I have learned that worrying about money keeps it away. The more you think about it, the worse the problems appear to be.
I'm using the Light Seer's Tarot and your card is The Chariot. This is a good card to show up here. It tells you that you are allowing your emotions to be dictated by circumstances and that you need to get back in charge of things. You are the driver of your life so rather letting yourself be buffetted by things beyond your control, take control of what you can.
First thing to do is make sure you have a weekly or monthly budget. See where money is going that perhaps you can temporarily stop. Then look at any debts - make a list, largest to smallest. Increase payments on the smallest and get it done. Then focus on the next smallest. Make the payment plus the money you were previously paying on the smallest. Keep going. In this way, you have a plan, you are taking action and the debts will be cleared in no time.
If you need to contact people or companies to ask for more time, then do so. Should your outgoings be larger than your income, then more drastic action needs to be taken. Should you move home? Do you need to sell your car? Sell anything else? Do what you have to do.
So, to answer your question, as soon as you put yourself in charge, it will start to feel better.
The card at the bottom of the deck is the Two of Swords, which suggests you have been putting too much faith in the Divine and not in your own autonomous self. Sometimes facing reality and taking action is where the Divine lives.

I recently had a date with a man that I worked for years ago, I was his estate gardener. He is now divorcing. I was very surprised to hear from him as it had been five years since we last saw each other, and I was surprised in his interest. There’s so many great things in play for me as far as my emotional healing goes these days. He is divorcing after 35 years, and is happy to be moving forward. I'm using The Light Seer's Tarot and your card is the Star. Oh lovely. This card tells you that this relationship, however it eventually works out will be a key factor in promoting healing, restoring your faith in others - romantically and friendship-ly speaking. I’m using the Mystical Tarot and your card is the Five of Swords. This card suggests that joining the organisation at the present time wouldn’t be a good idea. Fives always represent challenges and the Five of Swords is linked to communication issues, resentment, jealousy and other negative vibes. My feeling is that there is someone there who is disrupting the atmosphere.
However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t apply at a later date when whatever internal politics are taking place have settled down. The reason I say this is because the base card is the Hanged Man which tells you to hold back for a little while. Perhaps have another look at it in the spring - timewise, Swords are connected to spring.
You are in charge of this situation and you will decide whether to join the organisation or not. If you wait a little longer, the right position will open up for you and you will know instinctively that it’s the right time. At the moment, you are unsure… and like the Hanged Man says, when in doubt, do nothing. Just keep your eye on the opportunities that come up,
So do not dwell, put your mind at ease, sit back and wait.
So Joshua—October 24—and I haven’t spoken since the end of April (about 6 months). I’ve tried to reach out to him a few times with no luck. We had such a strong connection and potential.

My instinct is that you’ve made enough attempts to contact Joshua and he is clearly avoiding the opportunity to respond. Personally, I’d take the hint and move on. But let’s see if the cards can offer alternative advice.
I’m using the Every Day Witch Tarot which is whimsical, yet can give good results. Your card is 20 Judgement - same as you got last time. At the base of the deck is the Page of Wands . The base card can give us extra insights.
As you know, Judgement is about following a calling. In this case, it’s following your own intuition. In the process you have to let go of things (a rejection in this case) that are weighing you down. You need to free your heart in order to feel lighter and more able to be open to future possibilities. The witch in the image is dancing to her own tune, no one else’s.
The base card is the Page of Wands. The young witch here is also taking a journey, but he is hesitant, wondering if he should take the path forward or not. It shows where you are right now. His cat seems to know which way to go - all the witch has to do is take the first step. Like the Fool, the witch has all he needs to move on.
So it’s not a case of possibly reconnecting but a definite decision by you to put all those thoughts of J behind you.

Checking my compatibility tables (these are very general and should not be taken as hard and fast guidance), Sagittarius l (Bryan) and Pisces l may find themselves at odds quite often. However, they have the capability of working out their differences if motivated to do so. They are usually united through a dislike of authoritarianism in others.
Libra-Scorpio cusp (Joshua) and Pisces l are usually very compatible although Pisces can occasionally feel pressured by L-Sc due to their more organising nature. Cy asks: As for my reno, no not near completion at all. Only half way there! The other hurdle that could really set me back is the hydro/electric company. I need to upgrade my electrical. Apparently, a nearby neighbour had it done and it took 6-8 months for the electrical company to do it. Eeek! I can't wait that long. I have to call them and bug them about it. Apparently they already warned me that there is an electric cable shortage that could cause a delay. Got any tarot insights for me on that?
I've drawn a card for you and it's quite funny. I'm using The Good Tarot and your card is 'Messenger of Earth'. Honestly, you couldn't make this stuff up.

Hello Saffy, thanks for your question. I’m using The Good Tarot and your card is the Five of Water (Cups).
This card shows that to get happy, you need to do some ‘releasing’. You are carrying some emotional pebbles which prevent your spirits from bobbing up to the surface. Remind yourself that these regrets and sadness are in the past where you can do nothing about them. They really don’t exist any more. Every time you find yourself floundering because of some thought or memory, picture letting it gently sink to the bottom of the ocean while you float up toward the light. If you find that difficult then say to yourself, “I can’t think about that now, I’ll think about it later.”
You could also look for the smallest things to appreciate, especially in work. Think ‘micro-pleasing-moments’. Make a point of noticing things that go well; a task completed, help from others, the office cactus, or whatever… you get the idea. You can’t be unhappy when you are appreciating - it’s impossible.
The mermaid in the card hasn’t noticed the little seahorse keeping her company. If she’d just look around, she’d know she’s not alone and is, in turn, appreciated.
The card at the base of the deck is the King of Fire (Wands). He tells you that life can be difficult but that it can also be fulfilling if you want it to be so. He’s offering you a token of love. and reminds you that “a happy life is made up of a string of happy moments.” Happy can be small, quiet, and peaceful.

I’m using the Light Seer’s Tarot and your card is the Five of Pentacles.
The Five of Pentacles does indicate there will be a temporary challenge ahead for one or both of you. However, it is more of a practical nature than an emotional or communication one. It’s hard to tell what it refers to but could be the challenge of you having to deal with one less person being in your home (or close to you) or your son having difficulties with his new accommodation and/or living arrangements.
The card at the base of the deck is the Empress, which shows that the ties between you can never be broken and even if his communication with you fades a little (and believe me, I know what that is like as my son moved to Australia straight after uni), know that sooner or later you will pick up the relationship and it will be just as it always has been.
He will never forget about his family, but you may have to be the one who keeps those lines of communication open and flowing. for the time being.
